At Reyes Beer Division, we're proud to be the largest beer distributor in the United States. We deliver over 228 million cases annually to more than 89,000 retail accounts across the nation. We are committed to being the brewers’ distributor of choice by leveraging our scale to provide unparalleled service and continually striving to grow our customers’ profitability.

But it’s not only our size that sets us apart. It's our dedication to providing the best service to our customers and always conducting ourselves with integrity. It’s the resources we devote to developing our employees' skills and reinforcing that their safety is always our top priority. And it’s our promise to do everything we can to leave this planet better than how we found it.

Our History

Reyes Beer Division was the first company that started what is now known as Reyes Holdings. In 1976, fresh out of college, brothers Chris and Jude Reyes opened a small Schlitz beer distributorship in Spartanburg, South Carolina.

Within a year, the Reyes brothers added another distributorship in Savannah, Georgia and by 1979, they moved the company’s headquarters to Chicago. There, they purchased a distributorship with a small share of the market and with their flourishing entrepreneurial expertise, transformed it into a powerhouse, helping our organization grow to become the national leader it is today.

Never resting on success, we are now comprised of 16 local beer distributorships across the country. But we didn’t get there all at once. With hard work, a strategic mindset and our customers’ and suppliers’ best interests in mind, we have grown our presence in the marketplace over the years while staying true to our values. A Responsible & Sustainable Mindset

At Reyes Beer Division, we are committed to reducing the carbon footprint of our operations, delivery systems and their impact on the environment. While we are making strides in operating with a more responsible and sustainable mindset, there is always room to improve our efficiencies. Working towards a better tomorrow is an ongoing commitment we’ve made through continuous innovation and process improvements, with plans already in place to grow these efforts in the future.

As the largest beer distributor in the country, it’s our responsibility to have a positive impact on the communities in which we operate, from our supply chain to our operations to our local community efforts. And in order to do that, we understand that it starts from within.

Our community partnerships are purpose-based, supporting causes RBD and its employees care about. We may provide in-kind donations to registered 501(c) organizations within our territories that support our company philanthropic and cultural focuses. While we would like to be able to support all causes that are worthy, please understand that because of the demand, we often have to gracefully decline.

Reyes Academy

Reyes Beer Division has the advantage of being a part of a larger organization of distribution companies under Reyes Holdings. One of the many benefits of being a part of the Reyes Holdings network is the access to Reyes Academy.
Reyes Academy is a state-of-the-art training and educational entity whose mission is to improve proficiency and expertise in the areas of operating capability, safety, compliance and professionalism for all personnel in transportation and distribution activities within the Reyes Family of Businesses.
Through a rigorous curriculum of hands-on instruction, advanced simulation technology, testing and standard process orientation, Reyes Academy will graduate engaged managers and employees who are better equipped to meet the challenges in today’s business environment. Candidates who successfully complete the week-long course are not fully trained, but they have the foundation necessary to become proficient employees and leaders for our organization; understanding the safety-focused mechanics of the job and the bigger picture. It’s about developing our people and growing a safety-focused culture across our organization.
The success of Reyes Academy is measured on the improvement of employee turnover, reduction in preventable injuries, reduction in preventable collisions, and the reduction of risky driving behaviors as measured through a variety of methods, including DriveCam.

    About Reyes Holdings

    Reyes Holdings, L.L.C. is the holding company for four business units: Reyes Beer Division, Martin Brower, Great Lakes Coca-Cola Bottling and Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling. Together, they create the Reyes Family of Businesses. Founded in 1976 by two brothers, Chris and Jude Reyes, Reyes Holdings remains a family-run business to this day and is one of the largest privately-held companies in the country.

    Reyes Holdings is a global leader in the production and distribution of food and beverage products and continues to focus on excellence in products and service in every stage of its operations. Today, their diverse workforce of hard-working individuals produce and deliver millions of cases of products to customers through the five business units.
